This needlepoint (tapestry) kit includes everything you need to make two items: the small round medallion and the motif inspired by the designs on Sajoui iconic needlebook covers. This one features the Little Girl Repairing Her Doll.

Limited edition for the 20^th anniversary of Maison Sajou, presented in a charming little cotton drawstring bag featuring the design to be stitched. This bright yellow-corded pouch is reusable.

The motifs are stitched in petit point on canvas using Laine Saint-Pierre. It’s simple and fun. If you’ve never tried petit point before, now is the time to start: The video link below has full instructions.  

The kit contains:

• cotton canvas 7 threads/cm – 12 x 25cm
• 13 Laine Saint-Pierre cards: 104 x 2, 165, 180, 210, 318, 360, 444, 534, 570, 696, 760, 868
• 3 pieces of foam board – 10 x 15cm
• 2 pieces of thick wadding – 15 x 20cm and 15 x 10cm
• 2 different cotton fabrics – 15 x 10cm
• 1 pattern chart with tapestry motifs and assembly templates

Please note: the motifs are NOT printed on the canvas. You must follow a chart to achieve the precision and detail of fine needlepoint. For small designs like these puffies, printed canvas would not allow accurate positioning of the details.

To complete the assembly, you will also need:

• a glue gun
• a precision craft knife
• baking parchment
